Official Scope and Amounts for Turkish Citizenship by Investment

According to the regulations published in the Official Gazette on 18 September 2018, the scope and amounts are set out below. Foreigners who meet any one of the following conditions may acquire Turkish citizenship by the decision of the President of the Republic of Türkiye.

To be determined by the Ministry of Industry and Technology as having made a fixed capital investment of at least USD 500,000 or equivalent foreign currency.
To be determined by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change as having acquired real estate worth at least USD 400,000 or equivalent foreign currency, provided that a no-sale annotation for at least three years is registered in the title deed records.
To be determined by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security as having created employment for at least 50 people.
To be determined by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency as having deposited at least USD 500,000 or equivalent foreign currency in banks operating in Türkiye, provided that the deposit is kept for at least three years.
To be determined by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance as having purchased government bonds of at least USD 500,000 or equivalent foreign currency, provided that they are held for at least three years.
To be determined by the Capital Markets Board as having purchased real estate investment fund shares or venture capital investment fund shares of at least USD 500,000 or equivalent foreign currency, provided that they are held for at least three years.
To be determined by the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency as having invested a contribution of at least USD 500,000 or equivalent foreign currency into the private pension system, kept in funds determined by the Agency, and remained in the system for at least three years.
